Hi, Tigers! The spring weather has sprung, most of our motivation is MIA, and most of us just want to do anything that isn’t our research papers, final exams, or last minute assignments. Why not channel that restless energy into something that will help the community? If this sounds interesting to you, you’re in luck — National Volunteer Week is beginning on April 24th.

On April 24th, from 12-2PM, there’s the KICKOFF EVENT. This is a great way to find out what’s going on. This takes place on the second floor of the Union.

On April 25th, from 6-8PM, there’s the HUNGER BANQUET. This will be in the Patuxent Lounge and is an opportunity to both learn about hunger around the world, earn service hours, and maybe even eat some food!

On April 26th, from 5-6:30, it is the DOCUMENTARY NIGHT FOR WOMEN’S RIGHTS. This will be in UU 305.

On April 27th, from 12:30-3PM, there’s the VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION PARTY! Come hang out in Loch Raven and get a special “thank you” for all your hard work.
